Overview

The Methodist Boys’ School’s Linguistics Club is pleased to organise the inaugural 100-word Story Writing Competition in an effort to improve and recognise talented young Malaysian English language writers, to improve the writing standards of Malaysian students, to encourage young English language writers to continue writing as well as to support the club financially so that we can organize a sequel for this competition in a bigger, better and more exciting manner. We have partnered with the MBSS KL Interact Club, MBSS KL Editorial, and Guide My Essay Malaysia along with Teen TV as our presenter to ensure that this competition will be of success.

 

The Objectives

  • To encourage English language writers to continue writing and sharing their work.
  • To provide a collection of Malaysian student written stories among other Malaysians.

 

The Opportunity

  • Not only winners, but all good and interesting stories will be published online on guidemyessaymy.com.
  • MBSSKL top writers will have the opportunity to have their stories published in the school magazine.
